The following sites offer free online games and activities for young readers.

ABCYa features reading games organized by grade level and age range. Games are also linked to Common Core Standards and range from pre-K to 6th grade.

PBS Kids has a wide variety of engaging, interactive reading games. The games use popular animated PBS television characters and include small rewards for games completed.

Starfall offers games and interactive activities at varying levels. Some materials require paid subscription, but plenty of free resources target the five pillars of reading.

Storyline Online is a story read-along website where well-known actors read popular children's picture books. Each story includes lessons and activities.
